Well done, Mav. That's one very nice timepiece you've got there, my friend. Dwarfs the TAG, for sure. It's such a classic and looks well on the rubber, better than I'd imagined. I must now add one to my list.
Great wrist shot by the way......spot on lighting.
Wear it in health.

I think that Tag might be taking "an early bath" now that you've made such a lovely addition to your watch collection Mav! Sell the Tag, put the cash towards a second Breitling and everything will be right with the world!

Lovely SOH!

thanks it really is a beautiful watch, pics really don't do it justice!!!!

perhaps i would sell the tag, if it wasn't a 21st birthday present from my parents, it has a sentimental attraction to me and has been a trusted friend over the last 3 years, so i could never sell it.

next up is a panny 112 or a rolex milgauss i think but that probably wont be to next year at least!

Mav

Hi Mav,

Gorgeous piece and super pics

You really should consider the mesh bracelet too. It really is a great strap to dress the SOH into a new class.

I agree, the B&W image just enhances the classic feeling of that lovely piece.

For sure, I'll be trying one on during my next visit to my AD in a fortnight.

Good weekend chaps

I can totally understand that. You can never sell things with sentimental value. I have an old two-tone Seiko that my parents gave me for passing my exams when I was 16 - it was quartz and now doesn't work but I'd never sell it.

Love the ocean racer, mav! I think I'm going to have to pick one up for the summer water activities.

I tried one on last time I was at my AD - I'm very, very tempted. Looks brilliant.
