I am seriously thinking about trading in my Seawolf Ti for the Original Blackbird?
I know its much smaller but as an "investment" is it worth it; its "RARE"? Its just that I hardly wear my Seawolf :(

Anyone had/has an original BB and would like to share their thoughts?

Well if you don't wear it I guess it makes some sense. Why not just sell your SW and buy something you DO want?

I thought about this one for a while. The original BB is a nice watch, but ultimately it's 'just' a Chronomat. I don't think that there is inherent additional longer term value there just because it's the Blackbird. Different story for one of the original production run of 250 Bluebirds, but the price of those reflects that.

If the Seawolf isn't getting wrist time then you may as well trade / sell it, but I would consider which model you really like rather than trying to pick one up for any other reasons. As siglo vi suggests, they aren't really investment pieces.

I dont really like the old BB. I do like the Seawolf.

Im with Mario though...if you dont want the seawolf, sell it and get something you do want.

thanks guys; wonderful replies!

I decided t keep the Seawolf for now. Eventually I will trade it, but not for the Original BB;
I realized that its too small for me. After all, I wear my SA on a daily basis!
