Hello, I am new to this forum. Does anyone know if a Miyota movement for a Navitimer 3300 or 3100(New Jupiter or Pluton) can be fitted into a Navitimer 2300? Thanks for any help as my 2300 has died.

They aren't interchangeable. The watch may function, but you won't have the same features

Thanks much. Any idea as to a better replacement. I was informed that a replacement movement is not availible and I cant stomache the thought of discarding what has been a wonderful wrist companion.

I can't say with confidence, but I have heard that an ESA Y2 900911 is an equivalent to the Y2 900231. That's going to give you the same problem - it's also an obsolete movement, but if you can find a donor watch with either of those movements you may be in business. It doesn't have to be a Breitling watch.
