Welcome Sans!

The easy answer on servicing is when it can no longer stay within the -4 / +6 seconds a days COSC specs, and that's likely 5 years - maybe slightly longer. If you dive frequently then you'll want to get it checked more often to make sure that the seals are still good.

i wanna ask u one thing bro..... breitling watches r at par wid rolex....?? n is it better than omega from all aspects....? i hope so u wont mind replyin me dis question..
Thanks a lot for d reply bro... but here in bombay at d AD dey r tellin me to service d watch every three yrs... dey say its good if u want it to run for long comin yrs with less of damage...as a precaution.. kind of routine check. i don know wat dey actually mean....u know d lubricatin thing n alll....

 a lot of abbreviating there huh?

Anyways, service is recommended every 5-7 years, or as needed. Many of us will just wait until we notice any problems like inaccurate timekeeping, which could be more or less time than the 5-7 year recommendation.

I MUST be getting old because all those abbreviations take me WAY longer to read than "normal" words! :?

Sorry Sangreal - just my age! (And I'm still in my 30's) Anyway I hope you've got the answers from the other guys.

I remember my first Breitling....I must say she was great looking, but a bit rough around the curves ...

Having said this I must say that after so many years, I am still with her!!!

I think the UTC is showing a strange time (5 hours + 15 mins difference) too...
