how do you know if an online watch store is safe? i have seen some really decently priced watches on 'swiss watch direct' but want to know if they are reliable before buying from them :?

Check the forums on timezone and watchyouseek.

They have tens of thousands of members so there's more chance someone will have experience of dealing with a particular seller.
