I just went to Time and Gold and had a look at the watch Carl is getting, You have to see this watch in the flesh to appreciate it's attention to detail. Carl, I have not seen the grey, I am sure it is very nice, but boy oh boy, that is one of the nicest back dials I have ever seen! I love the flatness of the black, it really makes the numbers stand out, it just looks so classy! If Henry David Thoreau were alive and looking for a watch I think this would be the one he would get! Rugged simplicity and purposefull.
I love the shiny accents around the 12/6/9 markers and date window and love the font they have used to the automatic script. This watch just oozess purposfull class IMHO. I think you will find yourself wearing this one all the time Carl!
One last point I just thought of, I think that watch would look stunning on a simple breitling calf strap, either black or tan, I think black more so though!
