Hello everyone, I just purchased from the original owner a Breitling Emergency Model E-76321 . The papers show it was purchased new in April 2007. Does Breitling transfers the 2 year warranty to the next owner? Do they still do my first battery change for free since I'm not the original owner?
This is my second Breitling, when I purchased my Emergency Mission the jeweler took care of it all.
Thanks in advance

As far as I know the warranty doesn't have any personal restrictions, it's fully transferable for the warranty period. For any other Breitling there's no way to prove it wasn't you who bought it in the first place, but I believe with the Emergency you sign a transmitter responsible agrement when you buy it. Still, I don't think that would cause any problems.

I don't recall if the first service was free just for the Emergency Mission or if it is for the Emergency too, but you should have the same conditions as the original buyer.

As far as I know, the warranty is with the watch, not the owner.

The first battery change will be free and the warranty stays with the watch so no problems there.

Others have answered your questions, but......

You need to tell Breitling of the change of ownership so that the transmitter can be reregistered in your name. Stop by an AD or call your national Breitling body and they will help you out.

Thank you guys for all the help. I will be sending the Emergency registration for the ELT 121.5 MHz in this week. My other Emergency mission got the first service for free and the subsequent for about $400 to $500 a pop.
Thanks again
