Does anyone own or know about the Chrono-Matic Cosmonaute.
My AD got 2 gold ones and a SS version in and apparantly they are LE.
I looked at the bracelet and they all have a 2006 date in them.
He got them from BB and is offering them at 25% discount.

BTW: What is it like to own a Cosmonaute? Do you get easily used to the 24hr dial?

They are called Chrono-Matic 24H and they have different 24 hour layout than Cosmos.
There are two versions, brushed-polished steel combo and rose gold and they are LE of 1000.

There is also another version from 2006, which is the SS LE (of 250, I believe) with a blue dial. I have both dial versions in SS. Personally, I find a 24 Hr dial no problem, as I spent time in the military and it only takes a few minutes to make the switch.

I love the 24 hour dial (I have two of them now - will be three if aleister or jbbb finally realise I should look after their blue chrono-matic 24H) and have no prolem at all. It takes a day or so to get used to it, but it's really easy once you do get it.

Thanks guys for the very quick replies.
The SS one is a black dialled one.
The 2 other ones will probably be the rose gold version then.

Thanks for reassuring me, I too use the 24 hr system a lot so I'll be giving it some thought.
Maybe I should be brave and see if he can get me a blue dialled one, all my other Lings are blue...

Good luck!

They were a European only (I think Italy only) issue, and are now only available in the secondary market. The black LE seems to have been around at ADs for a while, I'm really not sure why it hasn't sold so well - it's a great piece.

I have a Cosmonaute and the mentioned blue Chrono-Matic 24H and as Roff says, you quickly get used to read the dial. The Chrono-Matic was indeed a 250 piece run and only issued for the Italian market. jbbb gave me a great tip on where to find mine - and that one was brand new, unworn, it had just waited in its box since release for me to pick it up.

So what are they selling them for? Is it 25% off Belgium prices? :?

The blue version is no longer available, which was to be expected.
