Nice pic - and thanks for the memories of a childhood in England where a dusting of snow caused chaos.

An inch here in the Ontario snowbelt doesn't even bring the salters out.

I appreciate the offer. Ohio is a bit far for me though... I was thinking more like Big Bear ;)

Hey GZGym1,
I love this forum, but it would be real nice to sit around with one or two of the guys on here and BS about watches!
I see you own a Tisso Le Locle also. I got one last year, but have only worn it a couple of times. The reason I got it, was that I am so impressed with all the details and workmanship for the price. I really like the dial, the numerals, and the thin, black hands. Only thing is I never wear it. My Steelfish is on the wrist all the time. I will likely end up selling it, but it's like new. Does your's get any wrist time?
Cheers,
Carl

Here in Michigan we are expecting 6-8 inches (of snow, filthy thinkers). Thank God for four wheel drive!

I shall enjoy using my snowthrower in a few hours (have to wait for the neighbors to wake up) while listening to my new Klipsch Custom-3's.

Here in Germany we got about 6 inches last Monday...and we still have 6 inches today (Sunday). It has not been above freezing the whole week! Bummer...when we got up yesterday, it was 7-degrees F...not fun and the ice adds a whole other part to the fun. I did wear the Ling to work on Friday though...

carlhaluss,

I love my Tissot my gf got it for me. I think Tissot and Oris are the two best watch companies when it comes to those price points. My tissot does get some wrist time. Not a ton though. I wear it as a dress watch, suit, tux, shirt and tie, that kinda thing. My oris still gets wrist time though, however there is nothing like putting my Bentley on and taking a ride in my girlfriend's dads 2008 Bentely GTC convertible. Black outside with black inside its beautiful!

A trip in the Bentley would be a trip to remember! I see a couple around town here, and love the look - and sound - of them.
I quite like the Oris line as well. There was a Special Edition "Frank Sinatra" at La Swiss today, which looked great. At one time, I was quite keen on getting a "Dizzy Gillespie" Limited Edition, but that will have to wait. That reminds me, I must go on their website tonight and see what they have new. There was quite a selection at La Swiss today, and it definitely is a company that has some interesting, quality watches, with a fairly good pricepoint.

Get behind the wheel of that Bentley whenever you can!

Cheers,
Carl
