Ventured to WoS today and was at last reunited with my Hercules. I can't believe that it is like new, I am very grateful to the excellent lady that helped me through the whole thing. They even got rid of a fairly spectacular scratch from when I bashed it into a metal postbox in Spain in 2007. It looks fantastic and I'm so glad to have it back.

I had a look at the SOH with rubber strap while I was in there - it's lovely! I was very tempted, but I digress. Please excuse the mediocre shots, but I only have a bog-standard Sony digicam.

So, here is my Hercules. It's very much like it's owner - big, heavy, not too flashy and very reliable :)

You know when you later realize you made an idiot decision.

Glad to hear about the reunion. If you are like me you can finally sleep peacefully at night. Keep that new shine going.

It looks great but if you'll use the Cape Cods, you'll make it polished.

I know, I made a similar decision. :(

Sav - great to see and hear you got the Hercules back! Like the beer ad: Worth waiting for!

Really? I didn't realise that at all :( I thought they were just good cloths for cleaning up the metal. Please forgive my ignorance! I guess I'd better find something else then.....

Thanks for the nice comments too.
