I'm guessing this one will divide opinion a little as there are a lot of "slaves to the bracelet" around these parts! (says me, who just swapped out my strap for a bracelet on my World!)

Anyway I tried my SA on the bracelet in the shop and I reckon the blue croco with the white dial looks way better as it turns down the bling a little whilst also looking a bit different. Just a personal opinion of course but I ABSOLUTELY love it on the croco with a deployant clasp....

I love the way that Breitling make their croco straps have the larger scales near the watch head, with the smaller ones nearer the clasp. Just attention to details that makes Breitling straps the best in the world IMHO.

that's a great looking SA. i've never been too big a fan of the blue croco, but it matches well with the white dial. and i agree that it is a good occasional change of pace from the bracelet. but i think i would prefer the bracelet on most days. wear it in health and happy holidays.

I bought my Chrono Evo like that - on a blue Croco - marvellous combination (imho) - now asking myself why I ever put a bracelet on it - might change it back for a while...

Thanks for the comments guys.

To be honest I think most Breitlings look great no matter what strap or bracelet they are on, but I must say I'm VERY happy with the croco on the SA and the bracelet on my World.

I bet your Evo looked great on the croco, Sportback, but then again the pilot bracelet is nicer than the Pro II (IMHO) so it could be a hard choice to swap it back.... (Nice choice to have though! :) )

After reading your post I tried to change it back - can't get the bloody bracelet off - I think acceldebt has done something so it's impossible to remove!

My only comment regarding the croco strap was that I seem to remember it being particularly stiff and as such, the bracelet was more comfortable as it took to the shape of my wrist better...but I agree, they look pretty good on no matter what strap or bracelet.

damn it driver8, this was what i didn't want to see....the blue croc strap looks incredible on the SA. I have both the brown calf strap and bracelet for my SA and have only recently started wearing the bracelet....but looks like there could be some shopping done to get this strap.
Congrats on the new strap and a merry christmas

Very nice!

Of course, I think the Super Avenger is incredible on the bracelet, but I think it looks nice on the blue/black croco too. The white dial is very easy on the eyes!

Not that you asked but MSRP is $480 for Croc with Tang and $720 for Croc with Deployment buckle. Most AD's will give you a discount on this stuff as well ;)

The blue with the silver and white looks great, especially with the white stitching in the strap. For want of a better expression, I would say it actually gives the SA a more expensive, and certainly dressy look. The only thing I'm not crazy about, is how the strap tapers from 24mm to 20mm. Just my taste, but a taper to 22mm like the PRO II would look better to me. A small detail, and hardly noticable, because one usually sees the watch from the top view anyway.
Cheers,
Carl

I love the blue croc. I was worried that it wouldn't get much use (on my Complications 19), but I really find that it's on more than the bracelet. Hadn't considered it with a white dial previously, but now I'm thinking.......

The blue croco goes very well with the proper white dials (i.e. the SA), but much less so IMHO with what Breitling call the "silver" dials. Maybe it's just me, but the silver dials always look more like ivory to me. I actually really miss not having a pure white dial model at the moment. Roll on Basel!

Yeah, I was actually thinking vintage chronomat white, but I can see that the silver and blue might look a little odd.
