I tried doing a search but the search engine said the term "Strap" was too common and would not pull up any results, so . . .

I recently bought a Breitling Shadow Flyback and like it alot. The problem is it needs a 19mm strap and the buckle is 16mm. I like the size and the taper but I cannot find a replacement. A Breitling AD said it is on backorder and does not have an estimated ship time and will most likely be months. They said they have a 20mm that would work but I would also have to buy a deployant and I do not want to do that.

It is black with a white stitch and a small amount of padding. It is the original calfskin and I LOVE it. I wish all of my straps were as nice. One more hitch: I need a longer strap as I have a 8.25" wrist.

Do any of you know a source for custom bands more maybe a better source for Breitling bands? Or maybe just where to better ask the question.

Thanks.

I know that SwissWatchStore (click the link above) normally have them. Otherwise, for a custom made strap, I can warmly recommend ABP.

http://www.watchseller.com/watac.html Check Davids stock. I have done many pleasurable deals with him. All genuine Breitling, they are in Tucson AZ. 19mm is a odd size? I really don't know that much about the watch you are talking about. They have three 18mm X 16mm. It might be worth buying the strap for the 16mm deployant. It it 275.00 what does a deployant cost these days?

Actually I have a tang buckle (I think that is what it is called). How noticeable would a 18-16 be on lugs that are made for 19?

I have seen many 19-18 but I want to use my buckle or at least get a new Breitling buckle.

Thanks for the links so far.

Half a mm on the each side won't be much noticeable.

I got to try a 18mm on it today, it is not "too" noticeable but it is too noticeable to me. The search continues . . .
