An ebay buy was not my first choice but alas, the prices seemed ok and I wanted to finally add a much loved Breitling to my collection.

My request is to have the resident experts provide me with your thoughts on the watch.

Along with some things I should be aware of. I've looked at these for years and finally decided to just pull the trigger and buy one. Hopefully I did not make a mistake by buying online..

I appreciate as much detail as you care to share. I cannot find this watch's model number for sale elsewhere so hopefully you can tell me if this is a fair price.

Thanks!

Nice watch. You can rest asured on the seller, he has been discussed a lot and everyone seems to think his merchandise is legit. Wear it with pride. Price seems decent. Not to high and not overly cheap either. Keep in mind that if it starts to loose time in the next few months to years, it will probally need to be sent in for a full service. But I wouldnt worry about it until you notice a slow down.

Congrats.

I have a Tag that had to be serviced and it was only $250-300.00 to have it done. I would guess that this watch would be more?

Glad to hear that he is well recieved here, I was amazed today to see that I have been on ebay for 8 years and if I have learned anything about ebay it is to be cautious and buy from reputable sellers.

Thanks for the feedback!

Probably around $400-500.

Nice watch, i like it. And when you are happy with it, no price seems to be high enough.

Does anyone know where I can get the specs on this watch? I have searched here and the Search engines to no avail??

Based on the model number: B13047

I am getting a very small amount of information.

Thanks for the help.

Not a manual, but you'll find a few things about your TT Chronomat.

Thank you for those, the first link I found before this site and it is what made me decide to request some feedback (from the resident experts here) on the watch as I thought it to be suspicious I could not find the model number in the format the watches with the number display them.

The second link makes me more curious now since I really can't find the serial number displayed the same on the back of the watch.

I may be fretting over something silly, if it was a fake, one of you would have stated by now..

It should be TT Chronomat. If you are uncertain, post a photo to determine authenticity.

:yeahthat x3.
I think I see the SN under the Breitling logo tothe outside of the caseback. THey are never engraved as deeply as the rest of the stock work on the back, so you can miss it if you are not looking carefully. Looks nice! 8)

Thank you for the input. I feel much better now.

I should have the watch today.

Just caught the group buy thread. I'll be looking at those closely when it ramps up again.

Update:

Just last week had to travel to LA for business and decided to wear the watch for the 1st time. While there, I had it adjusted at an AD and been happy so far..

Interested problem arose after returning home however. the band has come apart near the watch head? it looks like a splined end(s) but no screws at the location where it came apart. I have not taken it to a AD but will be in Seattle Thur-Friday and will likely have it looked at there if I cannot fix it myself.

Anyone have idea's as to why and how to fix it?
