I'm considering going to Govberg as well, do you recommend them? Any pics of the new piece?

On a side note, since the economy is taking a bit huge hit...places are definetly willing to wheel and deal a bit more. Walked into Tourneau this weekend and off the bat was offerred about 22% even though I told them that I'm probably NOT buying today.

Someone also mentioned about the way around sales tax. Also talked to Tourneau and they said that they can ship it to any state tax free as long as they don't have a store there.

I just bought #2 from Govberg today. Could not recommend anyone more highly! They will work aas hard for your business as anyone!

I'm not sure of the exact discount, but look into the Group Buy. I got my watch at a heavy discount. It's certainly worth your while to look into it!

I made few phone calls in early December 2008 to get current pricing on the latest Steelfish. I left my number with the AD and asked them to contact me if they could get a black dial Steelfish. They called me on December 29 and had an offer I couldn't refuse. They just recieved a black dial model and were authorised to offer me a discount I wasn't expecting. I was offered %40 off the retail price. Needless to say I jumped on the deal. I saved a little under 1200.00 CAD and walked out with a 2009 Steelfish for less that 2000.00 CAD tax included. The service was excellent and the watch is awesome. There is little doubt the AD was still making a profit, so don't be shy to ask for a huge discount when shopping for your new Breitling. If no discount is offered, don't be afraid to walk away and leave your contact information with the AD. They will likely call you with an offer.
