And boy, do they have good memory. I bought a red dial Chronomat there in beginning of June and haven't been there since (as I've been in Sweden). Today I thought it would be a good idea to visit them, update my address, get the Chronolog and ask for a few models.

I barely had entered the AD before they came right up and said hello and gave me a 2009 calendar before I even had opened my mouth to reply their hello. Then we discussed a little bit back and forth on my move to Japan, changed my address, got the Chronolog and discussed models - they will keep their eyes open for any Bentley LeMans that might pass.

For the moment, apart from all the regular models (and I do mean all, they are very well stocked) they wondered if I was interested in either a Navitimer Montbrillant 40s, a rose gold Japanese Limited Edition, or a Chronomat (World wide) Limited Edition.

The Montbrillant is a bit small in my opinion but was very nice, the Chronomat was very interesting. If I recall correctly it was limited to 300 pieces, presented only to the concept stores with a brownish/black dial with a pattern similar to the one you see at the MOP dials. Sadly I couldn't take any pics, but does anyone here know more about this Chronomat LE?

Japes are great! There is so much to learn from them when it comes to S2C (Service2Customer)

I bought my latest watch there, Super Avenger. They gave me a reasonable discount + 2 hats!

You got a discount in Japan? That's well done! I've never managed more than 5% off - I always face the "if you have to ask for a discount on luxury items, you shouldn't buy them in the first place".

I agree, the service in Japan is terrific. The AD where I bought my Colt GMT in August recognized me immediately when I walked in a couple months later, were extremely attentive (I asked them to adjust the bracelet), checked the accuracy (it was running 8 seconds a day fast), and advised I wear it in a bit more before bringing it back in to be regulated for free. I've since received a personal postcard from the salesperson asking me how I like the watch, a glossy catalog/magazine, and today an invitation to their Breitling Fair this month with a display of new models. I love it.

Especially the Breitling Fair twice a year is great - then you get 50% off all service costs!

I think it's 400 pieces - this one right - http://www.breitling.co.jp/new_models/c ... black_avi/

I posted it and the Montbrillant 40s in the LE thread a few weeks back (I'll let you off missing it as you were moving).

Hello Roffensian, I did notice that post but it was not the Chronomat Black Aviation they showed me. That one is a LE for Japan only, but the one I saw was a world LE - available only to concept stores they told me. It had batons rather than numbers (as on the Black Avi) and the circular pattern on the dial like the circular pattern you see on MOP dials. I couldn't get more info at the AD, but on the other hand it was in the end of my visit and I was running short of time, but maybe I could find out more later. And it has to be a SS version, because the price was 691.000 yen - way too low for other metals.

I guess I'd better dig further then

This LE search is becoming addictive

Did you happen to see a piece of the CSO Japan Limited Edition? It has all-dark dial (I think it's black or slate-grey), so no silver sub-dials, and was made total 300 pieces, 2007 or 2008. I wonder if this LE model is available yet somewhere. A blue/black dial for the european market would be much better though... :-)
Best regards: Robertus

Sorry, no, the LE's they had were the Montbrillant 40s and then this unidentified Chronomat - he said he could get me a Blacksteel AS and/or SA if I liked, but I kindly rejected that offer. However, they have promised to let me know of every LE they get, I guess the new ones would be turning up just after Basel next year.

Didn't know about that. It would be great if someone can dig out some photo.
