I have undertaken the rather large task of compiling a US$ pricelist chart that shows the prices of every single watch shown in the pricelists from 1997-Current.

I am however missing a few of pricelists. Can Anyone help out? I need the US Pricelists for 1997/98 (The second Chronolog) and 2005/2006. I also do not have the US Pricelists for 2008 and 2009, but I have someone sending me a 2008 one I think.

I will be listing the watches as Head-Only, and then listing bracelet/strap prices separately in order to make the list much more readable and make it possible to follow the price increases from year to year. It should be interesting.

Could you perhaps select a more stable currency for your listing like the Swiss Franc?
The US$ has become a third world currency by more than halving in value since 2000 so price changes are not truly depicting what the Swiss were up to.

Well, considering that not very much of the world uses the Swiss Franc, that would make the guide pretty darn useless for everyone except.. well, the Swiss. While the US Dollar is still a useful currency to judge by since most people know how it compares to their local currency.

Sounds like your lack of enthusiasm and remarks regarding my project are a veiled way of saying that what I'm doing is pointless because I'm using the US Dollar?

If you send me every single Price List in Swiss Francs it would go a long way to convincing me :)

The obvious only true international currency is the barter system. Please publish the price list (which is a cool idea, BTW) in chickens. I, personally, have a chronomat that I traded 1298 chickens for. Heck of a deal!! :P

The main reason for suggesting it is that Breitling is a Swiss make and the Sfr has proven to be a solid currency.
Nice bonus is that they also publish their price lists in English!
The only one I have in SFr is 2008 and I should be getting 2009.

I could see how many of the lists I've got in Euro, pre 2000 they are in Bfr (not too usefull either).

Sadly enough I can't send any lists in Zim Dollar as they aren't sold in Zimbabwe. The only place I ever saw an AD in Africa was in Johannesburg and I can still remember that the "Tax-free" prices were more expensive than the "Taxed" prices in Belgium!

Zimbabwe can't have a stable currency!

I would like to see how the US dollar prices compare with the Euro Prices or UK prices especially after the proliferation of the internet in the last 5-10 years. They may have gotten closer in price in the last few years.

Another member here may attempt to make the UK pound version after I am done using the template I make in Excel. That will be cool!

It used to be 4 US$ for 1 Zw$ in the good old 1980's
