Hi everyone

Came across this site a little while ago while trying to find some information on a potential Breitling purchase. Gave me all the gen I needed to make my my 2nd Breitling purchase...thanks!

My first Breitling buy was made in the late 90's an Aerospace Repetition Minutes. Really was a poor purchase and an impulse buy that I came to regret within a few weeks.
While beautifully made, I couldn't "get-on" with the lightness of Ti watches and it pretty much sat around unloved and unworn until it was recently re- homed

Since then a variety of watches have accumulated from Omega, Rolex and IWC mainly but I could never be attracted to any of the Breitling models until 6 months ago when I saw a picture of a White faced (Mother-of-Pearl?) Crosswind Special on a Pilot bracelet and the hunt began.
Eventually I found a close to new condition model from 2000 with all the paperwork and packaging - the deal was done and I came away a very happy chappie.
A really substantial piece and the Pilot bracelet is one of the nicest bracelets I've come across - the dial is gorgeous; the watch, in my eyes at least and despite the "brightness" is quite subtle.

The bug has got me! Last week I picked up a 2007 Superocean on a Pro2 bracelet. White faced with blue sub dials - another lovely piece that wears so comfortably.

Some sort of flavour of Navitimer is next on the horizon I think - maybe Santa will be good to me!

Anyway, great forum and a great resource and I look forward to learning and contributing as I go along :)

Link to a few pictures - Superocean phots will be a little later on

Welcome to the forums, and it's good to see that you've fallen back in love with Breitling.

Any ideas which Navi will work for you?

I thought I had a vague idea until I started doing a little ferreting around...cannot believe how many variations there are to choose from over the years!

Must be on a bracelet and will be pre-owned. No bigger than 44/45mm no smaller than 40mm and I'm really not sure about the dial...still, it'll be a fine way of idling away a few hours "educating" myself

Welcome. I have really started to gain interest in the Montbrillant Olympus. I like the idea of having such a complicated movement. Good luck with your Navitimer search.
