The words 'decent', 'pics' and 'Roff' should never appear together, but......

Here is what I posted of the 19:

I wouldn't say less chunky - it's a reasonably tall watch, and although the flying B on the caseback doesn't stand up that much, it does make the watch sit a little higher - although it's not uncomfortable at all. The diameter is obviously relatively small by today's standards, but I think this watch carries that well - it's a watch that doesn't need to be big to make a statement. The bezel gives it a little more presence than the Olympus which obviously has the slide rule.

I actually find it very clean relative to the Navi range - the dial obviously has a lot going on, but the lack of the slide rule makes it seem a more straightforward watch (if you can use that word with a semi perpeutual).

I like mine a lot, and the look is very different between the strap and the bracelet - I wore it with the strap with just a blue sweater and navy pants the other day and it didn't look out of place at all - it doesn't need to be just a dress watch.

I wouldn't have chosen a platinum bezel if there had been a steel option, but it does look very nice, and that on its own gets comments - though whether it would look any different in steel I'm not sure.

It's obviously a different price point to the Olympus, but I don't regret going with the 19, and I have to say the blue is a gorgeous colour.

yeah i really like the oly but i just think there is soemthing very elegant about the 19, less busy and more dressy. like you say different price point and i do like the blue but would probably go with white.

issue i have is my grail watch would be a perpetual like the 29 but Breitling only making them in precious metal limits it as even if i had that kind of cash to blow i just dont think i would.

what i really want is a 29 in steel but with an in house movement but i might end up getting a 19 which is 90% what i want without the 10x price.

only thing is its like 2.5 normal B's but saying that other than an E, SOHC and BB there are no others on my list.

Well if you seriously want a white one, I know of one in Canada that's available for a very good price. No international shipping, but might be worth a trip to pick it up. I can vouch for the piece because it was the one I would have had if the blue had been unavailable. Feel free to PM me.
