I was looking through the Chronolog and thought it was weird they still had a picture of the older dial SA on the SA pages. Then, when I looked at the techinical data for the Aeromarine series, they used the old SA again, the old Seawolf, and also the old Superocean. I know there are probably plenty of the older ones available still, but why wouldn't Breitling show all the new models?

On the arabic dial SA they have kept the picture of the smaller wings-logo'd model for the last couple of years even though the larger logo has been out for a while. The size of the logo would probably only be noticed by the likes of us lot!

On the technical data page the Seawolf and SO pictures are very noticeable, so I guessing it's just either an oversight (or laziness!) by not updating the pictures!

Don't have enough natural light left yet to attempt photographs today, but externally the 09 Bentley looks the same as the 08, but inside it has the GMT - that's your indication as that hadn't been announced when the 08 was published.

So is there actually version of the Bentley catalogue with PICTURES of the new Bentley GMT in it?

I already had the 2008 version, then the other week at my AD event I picked up the 09 Chronolog and a Bentley catalog...... which turned out to be the one I already had. Today I received another Bentley catalog straight from BUK, and while the price list includes prices for the GMT, the book itself is the SAME ONE that I now have 3 times......... and still no GMT pics!!!!

So is there in fact no newer version of the catalog yet, or is it just that the catalogs are being sent to BUK on the backs of tortoises and haven't arrived in the UK yet?

There definitely is a Bentley 09 available because I have one, and Canada got the Chronolog after US and UK!

The Outside really is identical, but the pictures inside are different and there is a GMT section - same format as the others - gold on rubber on the first page and then the model variations on the next two.

Right I've just been through every single page of all 3 of my (alledgely "latest") Bentley catalogs and NONE have the new GMT.

So that's my AD, the man from BUK at my AD event, and BUK themselves.......... and not one of them can supply me with an 09 Bentley catalog. Great.

Or, that's what they do but as they know you're looking for a GMT picture, they rip that side out?

Woo hoo! I spoke to BUK about the difficulty I've had getting hold of an 09 Bentley Catalogue (i.e. the fact that my AD, the man from BUK at an AD event, and BUK themselves couldn't seem to send me one), and once again Breitling's true professionalism came to the forefront.

They couldn't have been more apologetic for the mix-up and within a day or so, the correct 09 Bentley catalogue (complete with the Bentley GMT inside) arrived on my doormat along with a Breitling cap to apologise for any inconvenience.

Personally I always find that the mark of great company is how they deal with customer service issues. Every single company in the world will have the odd problem from time to time, but going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction is the sign of true care and professionalism.

Well done Breitling UK!!!!!!

Yes - well done BUK and Driver8.

Good to see that the goodies also seem to be finding their way across the pond and the UK is being taken seriously now.

Strange that a European company treats the US better than the home market to such a large extent - I bought my Aerospace in Switzerland and although I saved about 40% over the UK RRP I didn't get a thing! That was some 4 years or so ago - I wonder what that would be like now?
