My wife popped my Breitling cherry when she got this beautiful Super Avenger for my 35th Birthday yesterday. I've always wanted a Breitling and now I've got one. Who says getting old sucks. Anyway, I just can't stop staring at it. I just wanted to share...

Ok just to update you guys, it was a tough decision but I went with the bracelet. ( Attention whore I know) I kept the crock strap for when I don't want to be flashy or for a more formal occasion. Got to be able to rock out with my my crock out. lol. The bracelet is great especially since I feel that it has a greater degree of adjustability. I like my watches snug and if I pull the crock band too tight I will stretch the holes on the band. All in all I'm happy and thanks to everyone for the great input. Merry Christmas!!

I like it, I am a leather guy it fits my age a little better. I think it looks richer. Very nice either way. If you change to steel I would be intirested in the leather if you want to sell it off. I think it is the first SA I,ve seen with diamonds I really liked.

Nice piece!

I've voted no in this instance. I love the Pro II bracelet on the SA - I have one myself - but with the rocks on it, I think the croco tones the bling down to just the right level : it keeps an element of class about it. I think the Pro II with the diamonds is a bit too much "David Beckham".

I tried on an SA with diamonds recently and I have to say it looked pretty good (and I'm not an "iced-up-watch" fan generally), but I'd always go with the croco in that instance.

Personally I feel that putting a Pro II on it would be like saying "OK, I've got the shiniest, "bling-iest", most noticeable watch in the world, so now what can I do to make it even more shiny, blingy and noticeable!".

Stay restrained and keep the croco. :thumbsup:

Welcome. I voted 'yes' for the ProII but as Driver said, Croco looks better with rocks. So when you'll order ProII get another bezel also. ProII+plain bezel for everyday use and Croco+rocks for dressing up. :wink:

Oh dear......, it's currently 8 - 1 in favour of the "Lord of the Bling", David Beckham-esque, Pro II!!! :wink:

It should be a forum mantra - Pro II's (or croco) with the standard bezel, croco ONLY with the diamond bezel. Come on guys - show your class by supporting restraint and understatement! :wink: :lol:

I'm with D8 on this one, I personally think it's a bit OTT with Diamonds and Pro2.
I wear my SA with leather more than the Pro2, looks more subtle, and the Diamonds look great the way they are!

defo keep that nice leather strap. its more subtle and imo more trendy now to rock diamond bezels and leather straps.

It's always nice to have the bracelet for your watch, especially with Breitling's. They just look so good on the bracelet. The Super Avenger is a tough watch not to notice, regardless of diamond bezel with croco or bracelet combo. I say be Proud and loud with your Diamond Bezel SA on a croco or ProII. That's a beautiful watch you have there! Happy Birthday!

I voted no. The black croc on that SA looks the stuff, anymore will be alot of bling.
