Why aren't there any 45 or 46mm Cosmonautes?
Having lots of large watches 41-42mm is just too small.
Besides, once you wear the Super Avenger for a day everything else pales in comparison...

I'm sorry, I just can't agree with that - nothing, but nothing, pales in comparison to this:

The Cosmonaute has a lot of history, and personally I like the fact that not every Breitling has to be 46mm or larger. I have large watches and I have small watches, and I'm happy wearing any of them. My wrists are large, but when I'm wearing a vintage piece (which tend to be very small by current standards) I never hear comments about them looking too small, and I certainly never consider them that way.

its the perfect size imo. anything over 44 is too big for my wrist

the cosmonaute is a classic, I love mine and it seems to wear bigger.

there is a large 24 hour watch in the chronomat...I can see how after the SA everything seems....well...tiny.

I love this watch. This similar watch stood out among many other when I visited the AD earlier this week. This Cosmonaut I looked at did NOT have the display back though, which I absolutely love. Do you think it is possible to still find this watch NOS at a dealer? I would love to have one of these. Does any know the model number for the watch? What is something like this going for these days? Lots of silly questions, sorry?

The display back version of the Cosmo that Roff has is a manual wind, was a limited edition, and I think you'd have a snowball's chance in hell of find one NOS these days. In fact they dont even come up all that often on eBay.

It's a lovely looking piece, and one of only two manual winds that I particularly like. (The other being, slightly bizarrely, the Omega Railmaster XXL).

If a Comso DB came up for good money (unlikely) I might be prepared to accept the size, but as we all know I prefer the bigger pieces in general.

Personally I certainly don't think Breitling should discontinue the smaller pieces as they have all the history with them. However, I'd like to see a few larger DB models as well.

It's a pity the Le Mans is discontinued.
Limited Edition with none for sale.
(I searched and searched until I was blue in the thumb).

DB Cosmo is not an expensive piece. Bought mine from a UK dealer for GBP1,500. The challenge is trying to find them of course, but incredible value.

You saw A22322, DB ref. is A12023. I don't think that you can find it NOS at an AD anymore.
