No no no. For the CPA exam where we need to calc interest charges based on days, you use the knuckes & valleys on your hands.

Start with Jan on your pointer knuckle, Feb is a valley, March is a knuckle & so on and you reach July at the end, in which you restart to August on the pointer knuckle again.

It was funny at the exam watching people do this all day.
