I just love the watch, but not rubber strap. I just cannot get my head around Bentley & Rubber!
I'd love to see it on croco

Just as an aside, when I tried the GMT on the bracelet myself, the thing that really struck me was the severity of the taper of the bracelet from the lugs to the clasp. Whereas all other Speed bracelets retain the wider outer links even near the clasp, the GMT Speed doesn't, so it ends up looking more like a Pilot at the clasp.

I think I mentioned that abut the GMT bracelet back in May when I first tried one - it really is noticeable.

 Guess I should pay attention more!

I've made no secret of not being a fan of the watch, and it isn't really growing on me, but I am glad to see that it is getting a following - it's a definite expansion of the Bentley range which can't be a bad thing, and if it's bringing people to the brand then it's great.

Agreed. While it has grown on me a bit compared to when it first came out, it's not one I'll be buying myself as it looks quite different next to the rest of the Bentley range....... and as my signature suggests, I'm quite a big fan of the older Bentley models!

I like it, great way to start off with Breitling! It looks like you are going to have to go custom with the leather straps. Good luck, keep us posted on what you have made for it.

Nice choice, and a polar opposite to the PAM. My two favorite watches are my PAM 111 and my Bentley Motors, two watches that couldn't be more different, yet I love them both. Wear it well.

Inspired by this thread I went to an AD today and tried a GMT...
Not sure it is No 1 on my want list, but damn that is one comfortable watch!!!

The watch+rubberstrap is kind of rigid and creates an "upside down U" if you understand what I mean, which makes the watch stay on top of the arm... very comfy.

Also checked out the new Seawolf... that is one chubby watch, casewise it looks like a SA in smaller diameter but almost same height... chubby, fat, thick... you get the picture. And the contrasting brushed upper part and polished sides looks great. Like it more than the old one. Feels like a tank - indestructible and ready to use in rough terrain or waters!
.

Finally I also handled the SA BS, but I am not really convinced by it. I want to like it but... I´ll stick with the SS ones.

last week tried on the gmt on rubber & on the speed. Close call but top of my wish list is the black face on rubber. Perfect fit out of the factory & very comfy. Too many toys....too many toys..... :?

Woo! I never noticed this thread.. Very cool watch! I wasn't sure about the GMT when I saw it in photos, as it has a somewhat overly sporty look that I wasn't sure worked well with the Bentley Brand, but there is no doubt that is a fine looking watch. It reminds me a bit fancier version of the Hercules.

That is a very unique strap.. I'm not sure where you'd find someone to customize one, but since you are pretty familiar with PAM's you probably know someone up to the challenge!
