Hello all,
I must say.... life can't get any sweeter....

Multiple luxury watches - with my Breitling Navitimer as my favorite.
Breitling Navitimer (old navi II), Rolex DateJust TT 16233, Omega Speedmaster Pro - Man on the moon watch.
Great group of friends on this forum
Small inheritence coming to me next year - I'll reduce some credit card debt but also get a small gift for myself.... either 1 of the following Patek Calatrava, Rolex President or TT Rolex Sub, JLC Reverso ?

I am just a middle class guy on a middle class income and I think it can't get any better!

Well done Archie

Yes - you have to make the most of things - glad all's going well for you.

Nice collection you're building up - hope you enjoy them.

This IS a good place to habg out - some really nice people on here and an amazing amount of knowledge, not just on Breitling but many brands.

I feel the same way.

What model Calatrava are you considering Archie42? Good luck with your decision.

I like this watch, it' very subtle. The White porcelain dial, black Roman hour markers, small second hand, is probably my favorite part other than the movement. The 33mm 18k white gold hobnail case is small but inviting. It would work very nicely being worn with a cuff link shirt and suit. The mechanical self-winding movement and black alligator leather strap with 18k white gold pin buckle. This great, a little small for my tastes but I really like it. Which do you like most out of the Rolex and JLC?

Hello,
I have owned both Rolex and JLC.....

The JLC I had was a classique model of 18K reverso..... a bit small in size in my opinion.....

Personally I think JLC is a better quality item than rolex.... HOWEVER.... I prefer rolex due to a number of factors:-
1) status - nothing screams $10K watch louder than a diamond dial 2 tone datejust
2) waterproofing
3) i don't really like leather bracelets.... although JLC does do bracelet reversos
