I sent them (simply) and ask about the serial numbers and warantee cards. Heres what they wrote back...

"Hello Jeff(my new fake name that I gave them!),

All watches listed on our website are brand new, genuine and come in their original boxes with manufacturer serial number, all tags and documents, international manufacturer warranty.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with you purchase, you may return it within 30 days from when it was shipped for a full refund.

Our prices are promotional only until Dec15.

Please note, all prices are subject to change until ordered & deposited.

Thank you for your interest in our products.

Wow, just shows it certainly pays to do some research.

I like the idea one of the guys had in that WUS thread though :- using Simply's online prices to try and get other genuine sites to either price-match or at least drop their prices a little! :D

Just been thinking a bit more about the simplytimelesswatches website (it's been a quiet day here! ) and something that one of the guys said in that WUS thread made me wonder......... He said that he was surprised the net wasn't awash with reports of people being ripped off. Me too! And there was no report in that thread of anyone actually losing money by buying from them. Odd that there aren't any bad reports if they are total scam-merchants......

It's almost worth buying something from them for $200 dollars or so (like a Caterpillar or a Citizen or a Technomarine or something), just to see if they deliver.

Imagine if they ARE legit!

That struck me too, but most people will know to stay away when they see the limited payment options.

The reverse is also true - if they were genuine at those prices the web (and these forums) would be awash with people wanting to share their amazing deals - and they would be a lot easier to find by searching.

Good point too.

I guess we'll never know unless someone gives them a go.

I will chuck a tenner into the TEST POT for a cheap watch or something. If they are legit we can then sell the watch and give the money to charity.
