The problem with these when they are used is that you end up wearing a watch with someone else's initials on - seems to me if you can spend that much that you would want it to be 'yours'.

As has also been said on here before - it's not that attractive.

I think if you can afford this watch, you can afford to have the initials "fixed".

Even IF I could afford it, I don't think I would, and it's not because of the initials.

One of my neighbors just bought a GTR.

Im kinda tempted to go over to that shop just to check out the tourbillon in person. Its not very often you get the chance.

That's funny, I just beat a guy at the track in a GTR Skyline. Not all they are cracked up to be.

New Corvette Z06. Bone stock except sway bars. He knew how to drive, just not what to buy. Too much computer, not enough engine.

Yup. In fact had my ZR1 delivered to a dealer near me. WhenI went to take delivery he sprung me with his charge of a $100,000 PREMIUM. In other words that $130,000 just went to $230,000. I told him where to go, went down the street to the competition and bought the Z06. I can buy a few 'Lings with the $150,000 I saved. That plus $10,000 in modifications and it will smoke a ZR1 also. It already kills that GTR V-spec (skyline). In truth it was VERY close, but all 3 times I had him by a car length.

It reminds me of a time a while ago that we put a deposit on a CL500. They would overlook us every time one came in because there was somebody willing to pay above sticker. Finally years (yes, years!) later when nobody wanted one, they gave us a call that "ours" was finally ready. By this time, the current model CL550 was being introduced and we had already purchased the other model from another dealer a year or two before. So we just decided to let the deposit stay for the new model. Of course, they never called us. So I went on their site and noticed that they had a couple in stock. I called to work out a deal, and they told me that there was a $25,000 mark-up. I said thats nice, but id had my deposit there forever, and if anybody was going to buy one for sticker, it was me. It was at this time that he informed me that all my deposit was for was for me to be in line to buy one above sticker price. LOL.. I was like but even if I had no deposit you would have sold me one right now above sticker anyways. He seemed unable to grasp this concept. Anyways, needless to say, we never bought it.
