The Breitling Watch Source Forums

Hey all, I recently replaced my bezel spring for my Breitling Colt Ocean, but when I tightened the bezel screws I noticed the bezel would not turn at all! I took it off and removed the retaining wire to find it was not the correct shape (doesn't have any edges just completely rounded). I tried to fix it and tried to straighten it out and then bend little edges into it but have just made it worse. Do any of you know where I can find the retaining wire or what the part number/correct name for it is? Am I better off just buying similar thickness wire and starting again trying to bend the edges into it?

TBH I'm not sure if you'll be able to McGuyver a solution that works perfectly as they're precision parts. And speaking of parts, you'll be unlikely to find an OEM part as Breitling won't supply them. It sounds like either a trip back to Breitling (along with all the attendant costs), or you could get very VERY lucky and find one or eBay or watch forums. And of course you can try throwing up a WTB ad in our sales forum here.
