i guess that's an in-house movement rather than a Valjoux
the manufacturer can pretty much charge whatever they would like for an in-house movement, where as a Valjoux you can get it serviced at a good 3rd party watch specialists at a cheaper price
for anyone invests in a watch that's worth thousands of dollars, be prepared to spend quite a bit on the servicing once every 2-3 years if it is pretty much running on daily basis
but if you aren't prepared to spend that kind of money, probably get something like a Seiko The Seiko Sportura Kinetic I bought 11 years ago using the money I earned from part time job as a university student still running strong without servicing and battery change, still my go to watch for weekend activities
