Just wondering what everyone uses to set the time. Right now im using the PC and my time seems to be spot on. But if there is a better alternative to to use, i'm in.

Another thing i was wondering about was when you set your time do you start the seconds right at 12:00 position? or do you do it 1-2 seconds before?

I'm trying to get the most accurate time possible.

Thanks guys

I have Vista with the great sidebar, I downloaded a clock on it which I think is atomic. It seems to be as it matches up with my two atomic Casio's which update every night! I set my watch by those, so far about a second a week fast :D

Here is what I use to keep accurate time:

http://www.worldtimeserver.com/atomic-clock/

Seems to be perfect every time I sync it with the computer clock. Although, my internal computer clock at home keeps horrible time +1.0 min per week  .

Hope you have your screen shielded against radiation!

Which one is it Ian? I have one on my laptop - if there's an atomic sync version that would be great!

I use:

www.atomic-clock.org.uk/atomuhr.html

I think you can change time zones to suit.

I was super OCD before, but that was more or less to get an idea of how accurate my watch was. the last few times, ive been setting my watch 30 seconds to a minute behind time.gov so that it will stay relatively accurate for the entire month. Im +2-3 per day so by the end of the month I should be less than +1 minute.

I only set my watches to the atomic clock once in a while just to check how it's doing in terms of it's chronometer rating : the rest of the time I'm not overly bothered about it being constantly spot on....... which is strange considering my OCD regarding scratches and bezel alignment!

I actually don't mind my autos being a little fast (provided they're within COSC specs)..... but I hate it if a watch is slow.
