Hey guys,

this is my first post here and it is very important for me ;)
Last year I got myself a Breitling B-2 with the original Fighterband (polished). I didn't like it that much then and sold it, after I had replaced it with leather ;)

But now I would really like to get the Fighterband or an alternative, just to have the watch in it's original condition again.
I actually phoned Breitling about a Fighterband... It is not available in the polished version anymore. Big sh..
Now I am searching for either a used Fighterband or an alternative.

Here comes my question: Does the professionalband II fit to my Breitling B-2 ?

Hope you guys can help me.

Thanks
Stefan

I don't think so.

I actually got the affirmation from Breitling Germany.... it doesn't fit.

Well... that leaves me hoping that there are some polished bracelets still at Breitling's warehouse in Switzerland :(
There are some Fighter bracelets on Ebay, but they are located in the US and sold for like 400$, which is ~320€. Plus tax...

List price for the Fighter Bracelet is 210€.

IF (and this is a big IF), the B2 case is exactly the same as the B1 case (which I think it may be), then the 22mm Pilot bracelet will fit it. It certainly fits the B1 and looks superb. Your only problem though is that it's likely to be considerably more expensive than the Fighter option. Personally though I think it'd be worth it.

Well, me too, actually...
I saw this one on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.de/BREITLING-B-2-1884-P ... .m63.l1177

It seems there is a gap, doesn't it ?
I think it looks fab though.
Also the Pilotband has a round link, whereas the B-2 requires a straight link. (dunno the exact english word for it ;)

I found a bracelet with the straight links now on Ebay, but I'm not quite sure about how it will look like... Are there any images of B-1s with the Pilotband ?

Talk to your AD, he can order a Fighter for you.
I ordered 18mm ProI this year without problem.

Well, I did.
Breitling doesn't have the polished ones on stock anymore.

Brushed/polished combo also looks good.

Mh for me I think this wouldn't be right, since I'd always have this feeling of not having the original bracelet.
If the bracelet would be completely different (Pilot ) then it'd be fine.

I don't like the one in the ebay listing you posted. it doesn't look original at all with the first link round like that. I would rather order a Fighter with the polished centre links/brushed outside links, and have a jeweler polish the brushed links. on the brushed model the sides of the outside links are already polished. It wouldn't be that difficult. Depends how bad you want it...
