I have a Breitling Wings watch bought in 1997 with 6 notches on the back and need to open the cover. The watch may actually be a 1996 model. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The only sound advice is to let your AD do it. Doing it yourself will almost certainly cause more trouble than there already is (I assume there's some kind of trouble since you want to open the caseback in the first place).

Could not agree more. They have the right tool for those notches, the skills to do it without damage and an environment to prevent dust and dirt from getting in to the movement.

Absolutely, and also if they slip and mark the case, they will be the ones picking up the bill.

Everyone is correct in saying take your Breitling to an AD but if you ever want to take the back of a cheap watch, use a soft rubber ball which will give you plenty of grip but not scratch the watch.

I just got one from the pound shop. I think it was for a dog! Works great at opening backs but I wouldn't go scuba diving afterwards!
