I am on the hunt for an emergency and have narrowed my choices down to a blue or yellow face. I think I am warming more towards the yellow one as with the brighter face, (i hope) it will appear larger on my wrist!
I was wondering if anyone had pics of an emergency on an ocean racer strap... i think this would be a nice combination.

Thanks,
Patrick.

I picked mine up a few weeks ago (2 maybe 3?).
Well worth it.
Another member received theirs a few days before me and posted all the goodies.
You can see it here...

lightning quick response Headoffice, thank you.
It is such a nice watch, did you go with the yellow face as well?

Patrick

You bet - yellow all the way.

Extremely light which is my only disappointment as I like a nice heavy steel watch and the titanium is amazingly light.

You notice the difference when you put the Super Avenger on...

As for fast response - the beauty of work access - however photobucket, flickr and all other communal photo, webmail, calendar and sharing sites are blocked so I can view maybe 1 in 200 photos on this forum that are hosted elsewhere...

yep - all image sharing, webmail, calendars - everything like that - blocked. this includes pimpmyip.org which returns an error stating "proxy avoidance is not allowed"...

it's a real pain...

Same here, and after the forum has been moved to another host, can't log on because DNS servers didn't refreshed. I assume that they do it manually.

That is the only worry I have; the weight...especially as I would like to have it on a strap or rubber! :?
My idea is to wear my mum's tiny watch, maybe a 1cm in diameter for a week or so..then when the emergency arrives the size and weight of the SA will be long forgotten and all 43mm of the emergency will be appreciated! :D

Actually...
You'll probably find the Emergency and the ladies watch weigh the same.

If only it was larger & heavier...

Might have to get an Emergency Mission as well - but if I do that the yellow one would get little wear.

I was just about to suggest the Mission. No yellow but the white is damn nice. I like it more than the regular E.

Yes but there's a disconcerting number of people who've bought it and the second hand didn't line up or reset to 12 o'clock.
Some sort of alignment problem needing to be sent in for repair.

Not sounding promising...
