Hello,

This is my first post on the forum. I just purchased my second B-1 model A78362 from a Jeweler on Ebay. Did my research on the jeweler and they are legit. Just got the watch today and they markers on the outside, top of the bezel are not colored in black? On my previous B-1 they were and thought it was strange. Watch came with box and all papers and everything matches up. Only thing i can come up with is that the watch was polished and they polished the paint off OR did Breitling make a model with no colored markings on the bezel?

Thanks in advance to all who may replay, your feedback will be much appreciated.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Not at all unusual for the paint to have worn off or have been removed by a previous owner, not the most resilient material :-)

Thanks for the welcome and the quick reply. Ok, I am thinking I shouldn't be too concerned. Thanks again.

It's quite an easy DIY job to repaint the bezel marking yourself if you want to. This is quite a common problem for watches with painted bezel marking (especially Doxas) and as a result there are a couple of Youtube videos on how to repaint them. Worth a look if you're interested.
