I need to know how long is The battery works until we must change. The manual give us The time more or less of 2/3 years but in many case I hear people does't change it from 4/5 years. Have you got any personal rewiew for this topic?

No definite answer, depends on how often you use the digital displays & backlight. The less you use these functions the longer the battery will last. Once the display starts flashing the battery needs replacing. Don't leave a flat battery in the watch for any length of time or you risk leakage and further damage.

The backlight and to a lesser extent the alarm are among the highest energy consumption items that have a direct impact on the battery autonomy.

Hi,

I'm have no experience with the Emergency II, so cannot comment

The Emergency I have lasted 4 years on its battery. Note, there is no backlight function on the original Emergency. So that cannot be an issue.

There are separate batteries for the transmitter and the watch itself.

So, you need to check the transmitter even if the watch itself is still running.
