Good Evening,

I am new to old watches and appear to have found myself in dangerous waters. I posted an introduction and was encouraged to post anything that I'm considering buying before committing to it. Until a few days ago, I was blissfully unaware of the SuperOcean 2105. Having seen a photo of one, I am afraid that I need one. I have found this one for sale and have requested a few photos of the movement from the seller.

I'd welcome any feedback on this watch

lovely and rare piece in excellent condition.
needs a decent strap, faux crox doesn't do that watch justice, but that's the only issue I see.
tan/brown calf or mesh work well on the 2105

you'd be hard pressed to find a better one !

price seems to be a little on the optimistic side but given the rarity and condition it doesnt surprise me
if it speaks to you , why not ?

A while back there was a collection of NOS Breitlings being offered by a jewelry store on EBAY for $125,000. I believe it included about 20 or so watches and the same number of stopwatches. Does anybody know if this the same seller?

make sure to get a correct OEM mesh for the SOC, worth it

Ok, I have to quit looking at this site, I am out of money. Joking aside, I appreciate everyone's input and commentary and am looking forward to my new old watch. My wife asked me if I was now going to chase watches like I do knives and guns, and I had to reassure her that I'm not. We'll see. I might have some knives and guns for sale....
