A periodic service is not covered under warranty.
So if the watch (no matter how old) is performing within specs, there is nothing to complain about.
If however it goes out of specs, you have a right to ask Breitling to attend to it under the terms of warranty.
So, wear it and keep an eye on it.
If it starts misbehaving, use the warranty and take it in to get it attended to.
Not so hard to comprehend.

The oil in the movement coull be old, so for me is better to make a service as soon as possible. Ask for a discount to cover the income and make a full service because the pin's glue in the bracelet is old. They will change it every full service for this reason and not only in your new watch.

Gratings fromn Italy!!! :guns:

i purchased yesterday my new Navi World. The dealer told me to send it back for maintenance just before the 2 years warranty expires, since in this case the maintenance will be free. The dealer is Christ Munchen, Germany. pretty neat, if true, i would say...

I would ask the AD to send the watch in for service without an activated warranty (i.e. a stock watch) and tell him you'll buy it when it gets back. Breitling has to take all watches without activated warranty, sent from an AD stating it is a stock watch, under warranty. Never had issues before.
