Hello all

A few days ago I bought a Breitling Shark A17605. However, this watch needs some work.

The crown has been replaced with a non Breitling one (much too small) and the sapphire crystal glass also was replaced with a non standard one. I did know this as I bought the watch. I need to find a new crown and a new sapphire crystal for this one as I want to restore to its original state.

Can anyone tell me which sapphire crystal glass I need for this one ? I mean the exact measurements and thickness ? And can anyone tell me if it is supposed to be domed ?

I found an original crown for a 17605 movement / case so I suppose this will be a perfect fit ?

Thanks in advance.

I also have an automatic Shark A17605. It never had a sapphire crystal - the Shark was one of the last of the Breitling range to be produced with a mineral crystal (it's not domed, btw). :)

Thanks for the reply.

So not domed. Ok. Does it sit flat on the watch or is there an edge beween the glass and the surrounding.

It sits flat, about 1mm below the edge of the "chimney" around which the bezel revolves.
