About 4 months I had my Colt serviced. The AR coating had "peeled" off in some part of the crystal so I paid for a new one. The cost was $120... I have read here that some Crystals can cost upwards of $700-900.. My question is; do different models have a AR crystals that cost differently?

Very varied. Rough rule of thumb the more the crystal is domed the higher the cost (thicker blank and more machining) and the thicker the crystal the higher the cost (thicker blank). That said, the variation is huge and seems at times to be calculated with a random number generator. Remember also that if you ask just for a quote on crystal replacement it may be quoted including the service which will be required as the case is compromised.

My Avenger M1 and Seawolf was serviced last year at BUSA (Breitling USA service center) and the new crystal was $220ish.

The M1 and Seawolf crystal is thicker than Colt due the higher WR so I would assume Colt crystal should be slightly less or at least no more than what it costs for Avenger.
