Hi, I recently inherited this golden Breitling. I suspect it is from around 1950. There is a mark at the back that it is 18k gold. There are also some other numbers 363816 and 183 on the backside.

Can anyone help me identify the watch and let me know whether it is worth anything so I can have it insured if needed.

Genuine from 1946. Shows up in the book as a ref 7183. It's a small watch but worth at least the gold value. I've given my wife a few of these square old mens watches since she likes them. ;-)
