I thought it best to exit the Gallery and leave that noble site
to the chaps who have no other wish but to display pics
of their lovely watches (aligned bezels and all ).

Driver, I believe I made it clear that I capitulated the Battle
of the Bezels, as painful and humiliating as that was. (Perhaps
most painful of all, my cat Truman, a true fighter, looked at me
with utter contempt on his face ) It's true, I was willing to slink
away with my tail between my legs, perhaps even leave this
wonderful forum forever.

But then I read that last message from you, that ponderous piece
of prose that revealed your true character, your ultimately evil
nature. And I finally realized I could not leave the scores of innocent
Breiling owners behind to face any twisted whim that happens
to grab your fancy. Who was it who said "Ultimate power breeds
ultimate tyranny"?

I may be just a small voice in the wilderness, Driver, but I'm
growing stronger. And you should know that when I took
Drax as my user name, it was intended as a joke. But it's not
a joke now. That name is giving me greater strength, greater
courage to face the fights ahead. Drax the Destroyer...Drax the
Invulnerable...Drax the Time Lord...Sir Hugo Drax... Yes they
are evil, but there is great strength in them, too, strength that I call upon
to do battle with you, Driver. Because yours is the greatest evil ,
and if I'm to defeat it, I will need every possible advantage at
my dispossal

Don't think I'd want anything at my dipossal

I feel compelled to jump to the defence of my fellow moderator and true bezel aligner (although he doesn't need it). This forum has been a happy place for a long time, little bunnies running innocently among the fields of intelligent and meaningful Breitling discussions.

I cannot stand idly by and watch the dark forces of bezel misaligners try and do their evil worst. You simply do not realise the forces that are at work here - I cannot believe that it is coincidence that world markets are collpasing at the same time that this plague of bezel misalignment is struggling to gain a foothold in our midst.

You are not a lost cause yet sir, I urge you to reject the dark forces and step into the light (mind you don't tread on the bunnies), otherwise we may be forced to resort to that weapon that we are all loathe to use, that most powerful of all emoticons........

Well I feel it's time for me to take the moral high-ground and simply confine my response to saying thanks to Roff for showing his true (and NEVER in doubt) colours!

Oh and I guess I can also say that I've moved this to the off-topic section............. just in case people came here actually looking for Breitling chat! How silly of them!

Very well, gentlemen. I guess all good things must end. Perhaps
I did go a bit afield, but it was just so much fun doing mock battle
with intelligent sparring partners such as yourselves. Anyway, I
don't want to do anything to drive anybody away from this forum.
So...hard as it may be, I promise to behave myself.
