Ok I'm getting close to purchasing a watch and I want to get the groups opinion before I make the plunge. It's listed as a '67 806 Navitimer with box, papers, and service. So does everything look original? Thoughts on the dial and the movement? After shipping costs it comes to $4400. Is that about right for what's offered?

Looks original but I don't like the condition of the dial for that price, the Lume looks like it's encountered moisture. I thought the last watch you posted was much better

Try to ask him what this is.......

I'm sure you won't like his answer.

Interesting, I had spotted that one too and thought it looked ok apart from the dial. So what are those marks you highlight?

It's corrosion, the lacquer has been perforated, it's likely that it's due to the aggressive Tritium, but it can also have been caused by moisture (like Eric mentioned) it's something we see from time to time, very often next to the markers / Tritium.

You have too see, that these corrosion is only visible with a loupe or with a good eye. Corrosion is Unfortunately normal on non-perfect Navitimers, especially when the lume is already dark. I would say, the asked price is too high, but Navitimers are still undervalued...

So if anyone is curious I decided to pass on the watch for these reasons. Thanks everyone that took a look. Does anyone know where I should be looking to find a good condition original watch apart from eBay and Chrono24?

Or be patient. They are not super rare and one will come your way given the prices you were considering.
