Hi guys,

I just came across a Chrono-matic Bullhead Ref. 2117 by a private seller in Thailand (I'm based here). I own a Navitimer, but am very new to vintage pieces, and also to this forum. Do you find anything of this watch fake or non-original? (I don't mind the strap and buckle though.) Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Nice catch , congrats!
H & M hands come from a Navitimer 7806 , correct ones for Pult are orange on white batons .

as Phil says, basically a very nice looking and rare piece, the main hands are incorrect - correct hands can and should be found.

to really evaluate the watch we would need a movement shot to make sure the movement is correct.

Phil! WatchFred! Thank you.

I haven't set the deal with the seller yet. For the movement's picture, I'll ask him once I've decided to buy it. The issue now is how and where I can find the correct hands. I googled and looked through ebay but couldn't find them. Any advice about this?

Get it opened before setting the price! Movement picture will allow you to check if the movement has the proper engravings - Breitling Cal 11 ( if movement color is silver ) or Cal 12 ( if movement color is gold ) . Many Bullheads have been assembled individually by using spares a long time after L G Breitling closure . No matter if it is a Cal 11 or 12 inside . if you do not see the correct engravings, it is not a reason to cancel the deal, but a good reason to negociate a lower price . Some engraved genuine parts are sometimes popping up but not often . For genuine hands , I remember that significant NOS quantities have been sold out in 2014 - 2015 by watchcoaustralia / abouttime.ch , so there is a reasonable chance that some will pop up on eBay in the near future .
Estimated price cut due just to non original hands = -200€ / if also non original chronograph bridge => - 600 to 800€
