Hello
I am off to Manhattan on Boxing Day for 10 days and wondered if anyone had any suggestions on ADs?
Do places like Macy's sell Breitling and do you think or know if the prices would be competitve with other ADs in New York City?
Thanks

Not sure about the prices at Macy's, but, make sure you go to customer services on floor one and a half and get your visitor card, that way you don't pay the state tax (8%?).

Oh, yeah, and carry on walking up 34th Street until you get to the corner with 8th Avenue and have breakfast in the Tick Tock Diner under the New Yorker Hotel! It's highly recommended!!

While you may be able to obtain discounts fairly easily at the various Tourneau locations throughout the city, I have found the customer service to be sub-par which makes for a rather unpleasant experience. In my opinion, New York is a fairly strange market for purchasing watches. There are a large number of ADs which makes finding a particular model easy, but you cant help but get the feeling that the salespeople are just "doing their job" and could really care less about the purchase you are making. This aside, you cant go wrong on E. 57th street (Tourneau, Kenjo, Wempe, etc.). Best of luck!

Joseph Edwards, 500 5th gave me -25% a few years back on spot, new customer.

Place was real nice, this was ofcourse a few years ago

Service was fantastic as well as I had a steel bracelet pop free incident....

a few years later it happened again resulting in the loss of the watch
