First off, you guys are horrible wonderful enablers! Just bought another vintage watch, but my first Breitling
Early 1960s Breitling Chronomat. Stainless steel with the 175 Venus caliber movement.


I really appreciate you all giving me the thumb's up on this watch. And the wonderful information about this beautiful little piece of historic machinery.
The condition is immaculate. The slide rule mechanism and all the Chrono functions are excellent. The winding mechanism appears strong, now just checking power reserve. It really is a beautiful piece.
I was not a fan of the tan band and will likely replace it with a vintage Milanese metal mesh band by Breitling. They look really cool, and will give this watch a bit more heft. It's a decent size for a vintage piece at 37mm, but a metal band may give it more weight.
