I see that Breitling has posted pics of a new Avenger on their instagram account. You can't tell much from the picture. I guess we'll find out more in 2 days. I know they're already introduced the Bentley B05 Midnight Carbon. Only 2 more day until I guess we can see evertyhing.

I'd take the SS version with the blue dial over the midnight carbon. I didn't even know they made a blue dial version until I got the midnight carbon email.

I wasn't sure if it was going to be that or if they'll offer more titanium versions

The blue is very nice as well. It's a tough choice but I'm a fan of Breitling DLC. I've owned a few Blacksteel pieces in the past..

I'm new to Black Steel. Recently bought this beauty and I absolutely love the Black DLC. Have you had a good experience with Black Steel. Why do you prefer it above Black Titanium ?

Breitlight = some sort of carbon composite used in motorsports? Looks like AP forged carbon.

The Hurricane looks OK.... Apart from the gargantuan size.

It will be interesting to see the Hurricane in person! I like the look, I am happy that it is not more DLC, it has an in-house movement which will give you a five year warranty and it's price is in line with other in-house movement pieces. When the super avenger military came out a couple of years ago it was only $500 less than what the Hurricane will cost, for the extra $500 you seem to be getting quite a lot! (pun intended) The last question I have is who can handle 50mm??????

I like the Hurricane, interesting material, 3.3 times lighter than titanium. Will definitely take a look if my local AD gets one here in Perth, just so I can check out the size Vs weight.

I knew what to expect, but a blacked out 46mm SOHC for a fortune! beats all I was afraid of.
Chronowerks .....

Hank the Cod does the design, TheSage (for the non-vintage guys here, the seller w/ the most delusional sales prices) is responsible for pricing.

- 24 hour display - ding, ding!
- Manufacture movement - ding, ding, ding!
- Breitlight futuristic material - ding, interesting, let's see what it is. Hopefully not re-using the old Bakelite boxes.
- Colour - uhrrrr (the sound of the buzzer when Simon Cowell presses the X button on America's Got Talent)
- Size - uuuuhhhhrrrrrrrrr, definitely not for my girly wrist.

Lots of manufacturers jumping on the DLC/Blacksteel wagon.
