Bought this Breitling B01 Flying Fish last week from Loucri Jewellers in NYC,posted to the UK as promised by FedEx. Great service arrived as described, however no box or paperwork but I knew this before purchasing.

I just wanted your general feedback in terms of condition, in particualar underneath the closure the metal is slightly dull compared to the rest of the watch - any feedback on this?

I've taken it to the Breitling store today as I thought it was making a funny friction like noise when I wound the centre pin, however the guy showed me a brand new Chronomat 44 and it did exactly the same - again any feedback on what this is would be appreciated.

If anyone could also give me an idea of what this is worth in the UK market that would also be helpful.

Is this a used or brand new piece?

Condition looks fine on the surface. The folding clasp is supposedly brushed to my understanding but from yr 3rd and last photo it looks polished. I don't have a Flying Fish so those who have can confirm on this. It looks to me like they polished it before putting it on sale. The rider tabs on the bezel seem rounded and had lost its sharpness look on the edges in the photo. Maybe it's due to the angle when the photo was taken. Hopefully it's not due to their "repolish".

Unable to comment on the value. You can check out eBay to have a rough idea.

Flying Fish is one of my favorite Chronomats. Enjoy yr new watch:)

Its certainly been on a polishing wheel. Clasp looks like it been quite heavily refinished and the rider tabs on the bezel also look like they've had the edges taken off. Can't clearly see the rest of the case etc.

Nothing horrendous, and very common for used watch dealers these days. Watchfinder in particular!

All relative to how much you paid :)

The more I look at the OP's watch, it really appears that its had some clumsy refinishing work done. Would you consider returning it? Assuming that's an option.

The bezel edge also looks like its been reshaped, especially areas between 25 to the rider tab, and 40 to the rider tab.
