Hi all,

I have just joined this forum today so this will be my very first post.

Yesterday I also became a first time Breitling owner.

In April I am due a 40 years service award, as part of the award I am given £400 to spend on or put towards a gift, although I cannot claim the money back until after the anniversary date of my 40 years service I am allowed to purchase a gift a few months in advance.

So, with some of the money I had left over from the sale of one of my little used Pentax lenses and the £400 from work plus some savings I decided to treat myself to a Breitling Colt 44 Automatic.

Very nice indeed, your new Colt always reminds me of the old SuperOcean Steelfish 44mm, much missed by Breitling fans.

I do sort of like those Colts, just like the looks of the Avenger II Seawolf more, plus got a better deal than expected so, thats why i went for the Avenger II Seawolf

I also agree it is sort of reminiscent of the SOSF, good choice if you want a classier/less bold looking watch (not that bold is bad as a lot of us love bold)

Anyways, congratulations and enjoy it

You should sell the rights Breitling for the last picture -- looks like it should be in a magazine.

Congrats!
