Hi All,
Just had an aborted purchase on a Stratos Grey Navitimer Limited edition, did not have the strap or clasp I wanted, but I would have forgone them for the watch, best :lingsrock: I have seen in a very long time.
Second choice was Navitimer Blue Black Limited edition, had Croc strap I wanted with Deployment clasp, but wrong colour strap, although could live with it.
Now found a Navi 1461 that is the perfect combo for me and a really good price. So anybody out there got one, if so, your thoughts.
I keep my watches for about 10 years .
My existing :lingsrock: is only worn a couple of time a week, so time and date has to be changed every time I put it on.
With Breitling saying you only have to change the date every 4 years, how will that work if It spends a lot of time in it,s box.

Cheers

Mick

With the Navitimer 1461 I think your best bet would be to invest in a good winder, (many topics here discuss different brands) and keep that watch on a winder when it is not on your wrist. If you do that you will never have to worry about setting it!

With respect to your decision on which watch to buy, if you truly want the Stratos, and I can tell you that it is a beautiful watch, I love mine, then go ahead and put a deposit on it and have the dealer order the strap and clasp that you want. When they come in have them swap it out and off you go. Any AD should be more than willing to do this. If you are going to spend $8000-9000 on a watch, wouldn't you want it to be on your first choice rather than your third? Just my two cents, good luck!

Seeing your watch I thought had made up my mind for me,obviously not. Thanks for the input and will check out these watch winders. I can then have me new baby on show instead of it being stuck in the top draw of my cupboard.

Not the same watch but the same Cal 19 movement with the same complications.
It either sits on my wrist or on the winder.
It can be a real PITA getting the date, day, moon phase sorted once out of whack.
Still love it to bits though.

You will not be disappointed. I have an Olympus Navi and enjoy every time I wear it, It never gets old for me, I find the complications to be very helpful. Now I have my sights on a Navi QP for the 52 week feature!

Don't forget to post pictures!
