Haven't posted in quite a bit of time, but happy to announce that I've got a Black Eye Blue Skyracer Raven in route on DP3 Deployment. Had all intents of picking up a Avenger, but this beauty caught my eye during a recent visit to the Woodbury Boutiuqe. Will be sure to post pics once it arrives.

Congratulations. Its a great watch. Mine is a favourite wear, but its the earlier model. My wife's pick of the Breitlings I own. 8)

Congrats on the new Skyracer. I have an older version from 2008 that I wear weekly.

I always liked the face on the Skyracer, very balanced. Expect to see some photo's soon.
Enjoy, Frank.

Yes. I always liked the dial on this watch and thought it was underrated amongst the Breitling line. The only thing I would change is less high polish on the bracelet and clasp.

I have always liked that movement, with the 60 minute totalizer on the main dial, plus the 12 hour totalizer in the subdial. Same movement as the old Hercules, but exchanging the date function for the perhaps less-useful 24 hour counter.

I also appreciate the count-down bezel, which a feature few watches have. The chronograph is typical, counting "up", but the bezel is useful when you want to count down to a predetermined value.

But mainly, it's a handsome, beefy watch, with a great case and balanced dial. Congrats on your purchase!

Cheers

Ross
