Just wondering if anyone wears their Navitimer on a rubber strap, and if there are any pics floating about?

I remember a while back there was a thread about a Navitimer on rubber, can't seem to find it now.

Thinking of getting an 01, and just wanted to know if it'd work with my Diver Pro and Diver Pro 2 straps.

Navis on rubber are quite an "unusual" choice as rubber is usually associated with dive watches....and the Navi is pretty much the antithesis of that.

But here's a few images from Google -

and, surprisingly, Breitling did already offer the Navitimer on Tropic rubber in the 1960s, there's even an ad showing that ...
go figure.

Out of all the Breitling watches IMO the rubber straps would totally take away the look of the Navitmer and make it look terrible.

Personally I wouldn't wear a Navi on anything other than a strap.

In hot & humid climates rubber often is the best alternative for a daily wearer.

My Chronospace is more or less a beefed up Navitimer & I think it looks the business on Pro IIIrubber
with brushed deployant.

I'd go for a ProII with polished deployant on a Navi'.
